In Some Pain

Arg, I am sore! I have started my plan to eventually run a marathon. I am taking it very slowly because I know that I am probably very likely to injure myself.

My first week looks a little like this:

Monday: Run/walk- 3 min. run/1 min. walk x 5 for 20 minutes--

Tuesday: Run/walk- 3/1 x 6 for 24 mnutes (I actually couldn't help it and just ran the last 6 minutes straight).

Wednesday- 20 minutes yoga

Today: 15 minutes Pilates

So my stomach is so sore from the yoga and pilates and my calves are hurting from the run. I have to say though, it is much better doing the run/walk because I am way less sore than I have been in the past when I started to run.

So my goal is to run a 5 k in mid July. I haven't signed up for the race yet. I bought ChiRunning to help with my form.
